In the fall of 2005 a group of like-minded University of Lincoln students met in a local coffee house to discuss their collective futures within the games industry. Like many of their contemporaries they had become disillusioned with the current state of the games industry and it's insistence on churning out un-original movie franchises and placid sequels.
The students yearned for something more exciting and innovative. Knowing that this desire would not be fulfilled in the current climate, they decided to strike out on their own and form Dead Pixel Studios.
Dead Pixel Studios' mission is to create unique and original games, that appeal to the modern, intelligent gamer.
Their current project is due for release in winter 2007. There will be no sequel.
